Was asked for directions to the vellum bag I copied from a MK bag that was given to me, so here goes. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, this is the first time I've ever done this.
Use Vellum Card stock cut to 10 5/8"x7 3/4"
Score @ 1" along the 10 5/8" side for bottom and @ 6 5/8" (or 1 1/4" from edge) for the top.
Turn paper and score @5/8" for side attach panel (use can use sticky strip or vellum tape when you assemble it), move that score mark down the cutter until it rests on the 3 1/2" mark and make another score, move this score mark to the 1 1/2" mark and make another score and once again, move this score mark down to the 3 1/2" mark to make your final score on this side.
Flip CS over and from the attach panel edge find your second score mark and put it on the 6/8"mark and score, move down to the other side panel and line up your last score from the other side on the 6/8" mark and make your last score for this side.
Cut off all the shaded areas of the template and now you are ready to build your bag.
After you have it built use the horizontal slot punch as far in as it will go, centered on the front panel only-then again just about 1/4" back towards the edge of the cs. Go through the front, back and top flap with this second punch (*tip you may need to to them one at a time, but start with the front and you can line the others up through it)
Loop about 8" gros grain ribbon down through the top slot on front and out the bottom slot on the front-add filigree brad through both ends of the ribbon for decoration. To close fold in flap and pull ribbon up through the flap and back just a bit for a "handle". Done.
Oh, you may want to fill it with goodies before threading the final loop through the back. Enjoy.
